Storyline
"Sugar Cookies" is a 1973 erotic thriller film about a lesbian love affair between a wealthy art gallery owner and a struggling female artist. After the artist dies in a mysterious accident, the gallery owner hires a lookalike to pose as the artist in order to inherit her wealth. As the new artist begins to uncover the truth about her predecessor's death, she finds herself in danger and the two women must confront their complicated feelings for each other. The film is known for its explicit sexual content and controversial themes.
